Virtual Ring Light for Samsung Galaxy Devices

Optimize virtual ring lighting on Samsung Galaxy phones, Galaxy Tab tablets, and Galaxy Book laptops. Calibrate AMOLED panels and One UI settings.

Samsung Galaxy devices are equipped with Dynamic AMOLED displays capable of peak brightnesses exceeding 1200 to 1750 nits in high-brightness mode. Because AMOLED pixels generate light individually without a common backlight, virtual ring mode provides deep true-black centers with high-contrast peripheral rings.

Three Samsung One UI Tips

01

Disable Eye Comfort Shield

Samsung One UI features "Eye Comfort Shield," which aggressively warms screen colors. Swipe down your Quick Settings panel and toggle Eye Comfort Shield off before color calibration.

02

Screen Mode: Natural

In Settings > Display > Screen Mode, select "Natural" instead of "Vivid." Natural mode adheres to sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces, preventing oversaturated reddish skin tones during video conferences.

03

Samsung Pop-Up View

On Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Tab, and Galaxy S phones, open our web app and use One UI's "Pop-Up View" to float your video call window over a full-screen ring light backdrop.
